Unochapecó, as a community institution with more than 52 years dedicated to education, seeks to deepen the relationship between university and society, a perspective that has guided its various teaching, research, and extension activities. In the context of this concept of university, the stricto sensu Graduate Program in Education, recommended by the Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (Capes, Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel), takes on the challenge of investigating the development of faculty-researchers, articulated with the various social contexts, from which emerge the educational phenomena and their political-pedagogical practices.
Target Audience:
Professionals with a degree in different fields of knowledge, involved in educational issues and their challenges.
The Program
The stricto sensu Graduate Program in Education, recommended by the Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (Capes, Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel), proposes the formation of educators grounded in the theoretical-conceptual and theoretical-methodological dimensions that enable a consistent analysis of epistemological frameworks and the main categories and concepts they engage with to address the educational phenomenon.
The Graduate Program in Education (PPGE) has the general objective of preparing educators and researchers ethically committed to the construction of a society based on equity, inclusion, democracy, and the appreciation of different cultures, with knowledge and science as the main instruments of social intervention, as outlined in the following specific objectives:
